I'm super picky so it's hard to choose. There's no possibility of me trying any organ meat so I can't say first hard that it's icky but I know it is.
Okra may be the worst. It's so slimy and stringy.

talk about fresh food....
and then we have this. The squid is dead (main portion chopped off in kitchen) but the salt in the soy sauce interacts with the muscles to cause them to move. I don't care how much of a delicacy this is...if my meal gets up and walks away on it's on....then so am I. Katniss~~ (and to think ya'll be dissin' on the okra) |

I like pork fatback - chicharrones, calamari breaded and fried, tripe, liver, and gizzards. sorry folks that's good stuff! LOL what is icky to me is the mexican version of mole in that they add chocolate or peanut butter to it. icky! don't like it tasting sweet only spicy with red chile. |

I once had a bite of a Chicharrón Taco OMG!!! Spit it right out onto the ground and then put all my effort into not getting sick right there ... My reaction got a big ole laugh from the person that told me to try it. I was NOT happy. So you don't have to look it up ... Sorry for the weak stomached, but ... Chicharrón Tacos are pork rind (skin of the pork) after it has been seasoned and deep fried then put in a taco and they are slimy, not crispy at all. That was the very LAST time I tried anything without looking up online what it was that I was trying!!
