I left a voicemail for a friend, she said the sound I made at the end of it scared her cat. :-(
I sent another voicemail just for the cat, making my cat noises/meows--it worked. Her cat was looking around and twitching it's ears. The friend then told me the cat started to lick it's crotch! I said, "I often have that effect on females", it was funny. But now that I read it here, I'm thinking "ya had to be there" oh well--lol |

My son....
It's time for the annual Orchid Show and once again it was going to be me wandering up there by myself. I still like it, but it's one of those places where you like to be able to say to someone "oooohhhh look at this!" We drove by the sign on the way to school....and Rooster said "hey Mom...how about if I take you to the Orchid Show this weekend....my treat." Yea....he's a pretty awesome kid.

Stag (deer) Comedy
This made me smile this afternoon while doing a random search for Stags playing chess. I actually came across a comic strip about a bunch of Stags playing a game of chess with a deer hunting party by Ed Collins, but a person can't access that particular comic strip he made. It was funny, seriously. The Stag's had the deer hunters backed into a corner, during their so-called chess match. *LOL*
But this will have to do, for now. I thought it was cute.

A simple song...
Today was a not so typical day at work as many were out ill or just chose to not appear when duty called. So out of the realm of my normal job duties, I pitched in and helped the nursing staff. Come 4:50pm I starting to sing *sing a song make it simple make it strong*!! The nurses all joined me in the verses and I made them smile which made me smile

What made me smile...
Well, since this day kinda sorta just started even though it's just ending for me when I fall asleep in a few minutes... I will say that hearing my girl's sleepy soft voice over the phone when I got in from work was/is by far the biggest and most amazing reason for me to smile at this time  Also, the help, wisdom, and knowledge of a Planet friend with something quite serious in my world was greatly appreciated and definitely worthy of a smile in the wee hours of this new morning/day...
