Linus, I am finding in text advertising in posts and have never encountered it before. Is new computer running IE and windows 7. Is there a way to turn this off? Is very annoying.

In the browser, IE in your case, there should be a 'settings' option to click to do things to IE (or any other browser) like deleting cookies and browsing data, or setting up privacy stuff, et al.
There you should find 'extensions' which may or may not contain that horrible bit of advertising software and from where you may, or may not, be able to delete it. I hope someone who uses IE can come 'interpret'.
