Hi all,
Just dropping by to catch up on everyone's news. I had some unbelievable news today, I won a secondment for a higher duties position that I have dreamed of for a few years now. It's for 6 months and involves a lot of travel around the state and a number of people applied for it. What makes it even more attractive and special, apart from it being a challenging but very rewarding role, is that my ex told me that I was a 'career spinster' and I feel that I have shaken that label and proven my capabilities. Thanks for letting me share my excitement and news with you. That's what I really enjoy about this site. |

 Am doin' just that today and for the next few till I'm done. I think the fun-ist part is seeing what a pack-rat I still am. Thought I was doin' soooo much better. So shall purge as I pack... yes I will!! Girl Scouts Honor.  Have decide to get rid of clothes and such, bunch of stuff i don't use but want anyway. So silly I know. Well, gotta start someplace right?? ok, will post my progress okay? Don't worry about missing coffee with me.... will whip up another pot tomorrow if anyone is interested.
