We stand together
On this cliff A metaphor to be sure Watching the sun rise Our whole lives before us The sun warming us down to our toes As our love for one another Warm our souls We wrap our arms around each other My head on your chest Your head rested on my head Cradling our love in a protective embrace We know the time has come To take a step off the cliff And walk out into the world That is laid out before us Secure in love Secure in trust For each other Forever and always Holding each others hand We turn to face the sun Welcoming us to our new lives Together we step off into infinity For my love DillyBear
