Awaken

Good Morning my sweet self,

Again the soft struggle
of the moon
this morning has been
to beautiful for mere and breathless
words


The more time I spend
in the jewel of your dawn
the more I find myself


Too often I replace..

Forfeit the sun,
for this darkness here makes
freedom in me


The pale contrast
of my skin beneath
these shattered intentions

and

suspended constellations
keep exhaling, giving me
peace

I am a million stars!

Sand covered fortunes..

Bright as the the infinite
key that keeps opening the sky
for my heart to speak


I look no further than my
own fingertips
