I agree wholeheartedly with The_Lady_Snow. I get sick to my stomach when I see people being tasered, pummeled, trampled, kicked, and even killed over material goods.
That isn't to say I have a problem with people who shop peaceably on this day. It's just the violence that erupts over things that are ultimately so mundane. No matter what religion you observe (or don't observe) that is not what the holidays are supposed to be about.
