On June 25th 2014, oral arguments for a summary judgement against the state marriage ban were held in Federal Court, as of today, no decision has been handed down.

The feeling of most involved, is that the motion will be denied and the case will continue through the courts.

After 20 consecutive decisions in Federal Court for marriage equality, the judge in the case for Louisiana decided today to uphold the marriage ban placed into effect by the voters of the state.

Pro-equality supporters have vowed to appeal.
