The last time I was in a courtroom was about 15 years ago.

I hired a contractor that had a valid contractor license but he was using a legitimate contractor's number and name without the real one knowing.

He did a horrible job and when I held back $5,000 to hire a real, licensed contractor, to finish the job: he took me to small claims court!

I brought proof that he was a phony (I found the real one) and the case was dismissed.

I still can't believe he had the nerve to do that!
