The cats and I have spending some quality time together this past week. And well, big boy Mortgage, has made me smile more often than not. He went to the vet emergency room, two weeks ago. He is still sporting a shaved leg, where the IV was. It really looks like a boot! A Barbie boot...skinny leg, big furry snow boot!

5:00 late afternoon finally arrived and 3 day weekend ahead made me joyful ... I stopped and bought groceries, got the babies 2 kinds of doggie treats and good junk food for me ... I smiled all the way home
 They have eaten, drank lots of ice water while they played. Beginning to get dark and we are all sitting out back relaxing listening to the forest noises. It just doesn't get any better than this for me!

Remembering this night two years ago when my grandson was born. I hadn't felt that amazing-instant-overwhelming-all-consuming-unconditional-perfect love, since the day my son was born. And then it happened all over again. I'm so excited to go spend his 2nd birthday with him! 🎈
