There is nothing funny about bad reactions to edible marijuana, even if you are a cop who stole the goodies during a prior drug arrest. Nor is there anything funny about the cops coming to you rescue getting injured in the process.
But, I really want to know how one of the under the influence cops got stuck in a tree. Two cops suspended after allegedly eating marijuana edibles while on duty

Snowy Egret rookery
An almost "eye level" sighting each evening of the snowy egrets as they return to roost in their rookery a few feet from my window. I love watching them each evening come in to roost and depart each AM to forage for the day. I have enjoyed this spectacle for several years in most places I have lived.
My deceased partner & I enjoyed this for several years prior to her death. Now I see it as a sign, she is telling me she is always near & protecting me.

I was in Walmart today picking up a few things. In the checkout line the older guy behind me had this bag of really big googly eyes. So, me being me, of course I had to ask him about it. He got this mischievous grin on his face and said he was going to pull a prank on his wife and put googly eyes on all the food in the refrigerator. I got a good laugh out of that.
As I was walking away from the checkout a man saw me laughing and said, "You have a great smile - it makes me think you know something I want to know!" That made me grin even bigger! |

The simple act of making toast in my 1940s toaster for which I paid $2 at a tag sale in Northampton Massachusetts in 1989. It still works like a champ, even without, or perhaps specifically because it hasn’t any computerized components.

Being asked to fill out a small 'about me' questionnaire for my new job to go with my first day photo so my coworkers can get to know me better (everyone has one posted on the intraweb). It was basic stuff (hometown, favorite hobby, movie, vacation spot and quote) but it felt great to feel included and part of a team
