A friend of a friend taught me something new yesterday. HDMI cable and what it is capable of. I am in awe. I have a new laptop with HD and a new flat screen HDTV and with this cable I can now watch all sorts of movies, tv episodes, etc through the net but have it appear on my tv!!! And can use said tv for a monitor which is much larger than the laptop. Technology rocks!!! And the cable is cheap 20 bucks at Wal Mart!!
So that made me smile!!!

waking up to find my dog not in bed.. he got up sometime in the middle of the night guess he was restless.. but he got every one of his toys out of the basket like 30 or so. they were spread all over the living room and he was asleep on his back right in the middle of all of them! hadda smile.

chasing cats from the basement! I went down to put the cat carrier away and both of them followed me down there. Now, these are the two cats who ran from me as soon as I let them go after doing their ear mite medicine. I NEVER thought they would follow me..but..its true...
curiousity killed the cat! They couldnt help themselves! LOL

I almost forgot this!
The vet I took Mr Smitty to is my old horse vet. He has horses of his own..about 60 of them. I opened the door and it hit me...the smell of a horse farm. and no, its not all manure. It was early morning and they were by the fence line, eating hay. A rooster was crowing.
I miss farm life..I miss the smells...the blowing of their breath on me when they come up close... I am grateful for that moment...

I spent the afternoon with family putting up their christmas tree. The best part once again was hanging out with the little ones under the age of 4. the baby who is 18 mts old was really into putting those balls on the tree. I spent 45 minutes just with him; putting the hook on the ornaments and holding him up so he could fasten them on the tree. He was delightful and so sweet. I could not believe he hung in there with me till all the ornaments were on the tree. What a beautiful lil boy!
