So crazy today. It was 80 and muggy when I woke up so I threw on a light dress to go run some errands before work. While I was in a shop the sky opened and a massive thunder storm was at bay. I got soaked. No time to change but thankfully I had a jacket in the car because it dropped 20 degrees. Then warm and muggy again. Then rain and hail and a tornado watch. Now the sun is coming out and it's cooler and muggy and everything is sticky.

10:11 – 76 degrees and expected to climb slowly to 89 by 2 this afternoon. Then 90 degrees holding until 6 pm. Temps in the 80's for next three hours, followed by steady downward drop until reaching 69 degrees at midnight. Humidity is 15% until 11 then at 0% for remaining 2 hours of the day. Winds predicted between 6 and 9 mph throughout the day and night. Even though forecast is for a very hot day at least it's going to be a dry heat which always helps.

Been mostly cloudy and sticky the past 2 weeks. Looks like next week will be the same just a higher chance of storms due to the storm coming in off the gulf coast.

Terrible rain storm and flooding in the mountains last night. I saw 2 videos where water was washing across the road, standing in the road and the river was rising. Sure glad I wasn't camping

It's rumbling and grumbling here over central Arkansas and there is a thunderstorm about to unleash a torrential downpour on our asses.
This means I will have an 80-lb Golden Retriever in my lap for the next few hours. Poor baby.

Today the temp may get as high as 80*.

But we're still lucky to have an reasonable heat index....after today, temps will remain in the 70s for the next several days. I still have yet to find an LED fan unit to keep the house cool, during extended heat waves this summer, but hope to find one soon.

It's expected to reach 90 degrees today, just past Noon it's already 85. It's supposed to drop back down to 85 by 6 this evening though, so not so bad. Maybe then I'll get some real work done around here.
