Regarding the visualization of time in one's head: I swear I'm not making this up! lol. I googled it and this is the closest example I could find to what I'm talking about:

The decades from my birth (October of 1973, if you MUST know  ) to the year 2010 I pictured as being laid out horizontally stacked. Then suddenly they start being stacked vertically again. I guess I started seeing the years this way when I was much younger and I must not have considered my life to "count" after 2010 (which is sad and ridiculous, but that's the way I saw it). Now every decade gets added vertically into mental clouds, or blank space, I hadn't previously accounted for (visually). Did I just out myself as being completely insane? TLDR; I picture the years, months, days in my head and I want to know if you do, too! |

I hate to disappoint by giving a flat "no/false" answer but I just don't have a grasp of this. I can visualise calendars, graphs, tables, pie charts etc but I do not visualise my life or it's progress in these terms...or, at least, never spontaneously have.
