Those of You in this thread who contributed books for the drive (for Dell Children's Medical Ctr. ~ where I volunteer), a million thank You's!!!! We collected around 300 books(English & Spanish)/coloring & activity books/crayons/DVDs for DCMC's Half~Pint Library!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are pictures in my Gallery!

Ok, I have some dreadful news. I am unable to get my scanner to work (it is brand new!). So I am only going to be able to send the original to Cara which will go out in the mail today. I am so sorry. I should have done this earlier instead of waiting till the last darned minute. With the breast biopsy scheduled tomorrow my mind is not there (it is in scared mode) to fiddle with the scanner. I am so sorry ya'll!!!!!! And sad too!!!

OH! I wanted to tell Y'all a neat project I've started.....You know how I'm drawn toward the collage thing, right?

Well....I started wondering whether or not I could do this on canvas...and make it more artsy~fartsy. I researched online and found this was done a lot and it's not difficult!

So this last night, I began one for my daughter for Christmas. I think it's gonna be pretty neat! Maybe I should take shots & post the various stages...I'm having fun with it, for sure! I guess it's time to rip up the carpet in the Girl Room, huh? :eyebat"
