Listening to my niece sing along to the song Roar by Katy Perry in the car . I was surprised that she knew every word and she is a pretty good singer. I know music is so important to her she loves it. The first thing she does when she hops in my truck is turn the xm on and start changing my channels to the ones she likes. hahaha Now if she would just memorize her school work, like she does the words to songs, we might be getting somewhere.

I finally have something to watch other than Netflix..with some help I installed an indoor antenna...now I can watch the Olympics woo hoo!

Yep you guessed it... You have to pour the water out of the cup into the machine for it to brew!!!! awwwwwweeeee coffee...

Spoke with my good friend, Fr. R who will come by this Wednesday morning, Ash Wednesday, to administer ashes and the Sacraments, and then I will begin a 46-day observance of Lent with prayer, reparation and fasting. My diet will consist of seafood, fish, vegetables, bread, water and wine. It is an honor to walk with Jesus silently and observe my holy Roman Catholic faith more at this time than any other during the year.

I got to see my mom today, I have not seen her since her b-day in December...the weekend that my ex moved out...and my sis flew in to surprise us that weekend as well...what a nice surprise in the middle of such chaos
my mom requested an early addition sunday paper and my mini upholstery cleaner...we baked date bars and she sent me home with a bunch of books
