My eldest child.. she texted me that she was feeling sick...I told her she should go see her gram (my mom) and let her take care of her...
Within 5 minutes she's calling me...she tells me she was just telling her friend she wished I was there...she just wants her mom! I told her...I'm 42 now...and when I'm sick, I STILL want my mom...and always will

On a simular note my youngest who is living with me for awhile came home tonight and informed me that as she approached our front door she told a neighbor happily " yeah it's my house that smells that good" I was grilling fajita meat.... BIG smile.

I headed out for a random drive...seeking out a trailhead for a mountain I'm anxious to hike...got lost...which I love doing...ended up on a road windi.g up and up th mountain....then downdowndown....and ended up in Black Mountain...the town I love best...
Took Jacques out for a walk. Found the teahouse that I want to try...and where I will look for a cast iron steeping teapot...and found a class Id like to take this month...then walked uptown and HAPPENED by the ice cream shop I love...and as I was tying Jacques to the bench outside, the owner came to the door and said he was welcome inside! She pointed out her two workers in the window looking at him very happily So we went in and I got a sundae with salted caramel ice cream and Peruvian chocolate fudge.....and real whipped cream....gleee Then numerous other people came in and Jacques played social butterfly. He's soo my ambassador. I talk to all kinds of people when he's with me. Oh and the owner gave him vanilla ice cream.....happy accident finding my way there tonight
