i had a very quiet christmas, i worked through it all lol..
and my children went away with their father for the holiday to spend it with him this year.. so we actually just had our christmas when they got home (night before last)..

very excited to have them back home now!
have a wonderful kind of Tuesday!

I spent part of new years in the ER too, however I was only visiting. I do hope youre feeling better soon!!

Hi Lofters,

I've been lurking here for a while but thought I should officially introduce myself and say hello.

Tomorrow (today? West coast dwelling, night owl-istic tendencies make internet communications difficult sometimes) marks the month long count down to my 48th birthday. I have NO IDEA why this count down is occurring! 30 felt like nothing, 40 was a joke, and 45 was merely an eyeroll... but 48 feels oddly significant!

Should Lucy not be present to 'splain, I guess I'll just say that I feel like I'm on the precipice of something big.

I'm refraining from trying to name and/or predict what, exactly. Because as much as I hate surprises, I like it when life happens the way it's meant to, without undue interference from moi.

So I'll step out of the way and try to remain as open as I possibly can to what may come.

What a day! Hope everyone has a good evening. It's great to see so many new posters here. It's still to quiet though. We need a question or something to get everyone posting and conversing here again. I can't think of one. Any ideas out there?

ok what do some of ya'll do for fun?? like i dont know...... for me...
i like to go see movies, fishing, flea markets , ok i know its been very cold lately.... there are some events coming up though... like the home show at a convention center near you.. heh ..... i love going to them kinda things.... or my favorite the fishing/sport show.... yeha .. lol
and ladies I have you all know...... they sell pink fishing rod n reel sets..... my daughter gave me one last yr for christmas along with a pink tackle box.. lol I do carry some of my fishing stuff with me in the truck.

Morning lofters.... haven't been around much.. had a gf for a few months. That ended friday much to my despair. Not gonna go there again. This hurts like hell.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Going out with a friend this afternoon. Maybe a movie. Need to get myself out.

Answer to the Question: what do i do for fun ?
i love the outdoors, hiking, walking, heck even yardwork! lol.. i miss living in a home where i can garden, etc.. i do graphic design online, have my website and blog and design personalized tags and digital scrapbooking supplies.. i love movie watching, reading (i'm a bookworm), time with friends & my children of course.. love to cook & bake and i love camping, like wilderness in a tent camping, heh...

i'm sure there's more but, ya's get the giste..
i really like the question asking thing to get conversation rolling ! great idea!
