High and low: finding out mom now has the dates for her back surgeries.
Really low: finding out the surgeries are when I have already booked a flight out of town. Really low: knowing three weeks post surgery (around the time she should be getting out of the care facility) I have already booked flights for 2 weeks of travel outside of the US. Can we say really expensive non-refundable tickets? |

High: graduation lunch in Asian fusion restaurant Low: our insurance company is the only insurance company that doesn't allow the doctor to just give the kid a boot for her ankle. Low: can't find any place in local area where they cover the boot. Many places don't have it in stock even if it were covered. High/low: Kid is in pain but quite understanding/low: she is in pain sigh |
