Just wanted to say thank you for the rep points, esp on 'Libertango'. Yo Yo Ma is also a favortie of mine - we seem to have very similar tastes in music - music is a passion; from classical to doo-wop, and most music in between.

This Young woman ( Montana Young) was in our boy's graduating class. She and a fellow classmate did an arrangement of Wayfaring Stranger that was just haunting.

She is quite the fiddling phenom!

That is the basis of this incredible story written by one of Latin America's greatest writers. The movie, unlike many, does it beautiful justice. Sensitively brought to the screen with the same passion and intensity as experienced in the novel.

Shakira did it further justice by honoring it with this song she wrote especially for the film: 'Cada Dia Pienso en Ti' (Every Day I think of You). It is full of longing and pathos. Even without understanding the words...one cannot help but feel the pain of the lover who's waited for almost 53 years for his love. This is a story only a Latin could write...

No apologies for the long post...this story and song have touched me deeply, as my life has been a similar story - without the happy ending of this one.
