What brought me joy today...
Hitting the snooze a couple times, just to snuggle against her back. After almost a week of constant rain here, I can finally see the sun peeking through the clouds today! Having a YUMMY boudain kolache for breakfast ~ with a big ol' Diet Coke (you know, to level out the bad & good  )Girls date night at home tonight... bring on the pjs, pizza & box o' wine! Blessings in the simple things in life. Marking another big ol' red X on the calendar ~ 22 days until the Reunion! |

This brings me much joy ...
When I arrived home from work today, I inspected my property and ... *drum roll* ... still no ants.
I woke up this past Sunday morning and there were about half a dozen ants on my counter tops in the kitchen. I located their camp just outside my back door where they were lining up to come inside. Killed all the ones close by with Fantastic cleaning spray. After I had coffee, I went commando on these ants. Put on my camo gear, located my three gallon tank sprayer in the storage room, pulled out a fresh quart of outdoor bug killer. I am talking the concentrated type. Folks, I do not play! Mixed an extra strong concoction, let out a warcry and commenced. *snickering at self* So far so good. I cannot stand bugs inside my house! No ants make me a very happy boy. *grin* |
