Im currently living in New West which is located in beautiful BC Canada
I found this site while I was looking for some info to pass on to a recently out friend.

Hi folks. I'm from Western New England, and I'm a poly butch. I'm in a couple of relationships right now, and my primary partner and I are about to get started on the family thing. Thinking about being a parent has touched off some gender issues I hadn't expected to come up for me, so I was hoping to meet some other butch/gender queer parents here. I like hiking, bike riding, and beer brewing, and I do a little writing too. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better!

I don't have any myself so I can't speak to being a parent of the two legged children anyway but there are plenty of people around here who are. I joined the Planet to announce that I'm starting a new group, Butches and Femmes, for all of us, but especially for those in the DC, MD, and Northern VA area. The first meeting is on 9/13/14 from 11:30am - 12:30pm at The DC Center for the LGBT Community in downtown Washington. Looking to host happy, healthy, and helpful social gatherings for all on the B/F spectrum.

I would post in announcements, but I guess I'll need 29 more before I can start a thread

I stumbled into BFP while looking for butch/femme erotica and found some really nice pieces on the forums here. I stayed around looking at the other threads and was intrigued/impressed/inspired by what I read.
