The tradition in the north is seafood. I'm making clam chowder, king crab legs, steamed asparagus, and roasted baby red potatoes.

Dumped some canned pinto beans on a paper plate. On top of that, I put diced jalapeno peppers, hot sauce and grated cheese. After I nuked it for 3.5 minutes, I spooned a little sour creme on top. Drank grape kook-aide with it.

Posole or Pozole soup is made with pork & hominy and chilli peppers preferably chipole peppers served with cilantro sometimes served with avacados and tostada shells
