LOL - It does look creepy but actually at one time it was a place where nuns provided prosthetic limbs/other medical devices for patients. Which could still be kind of creepy I suppose depending on why and how it was that some people found themselves in need of prosthetic limbs, built up shoes, braces and stuff as well as the behavior, temperament, belief systems of the nuns involved and the individuals who controlled those nuns.

Who knows, the way those nuns used to whirl those rulers about, perhaps they severed many a limbs so kept "replacement parts" just in case

Sea of Clothes

The photos published in the Cypriot daily Politis on Saturday show the devastation caused to the ordinary lives of people of Varosha in Famagusta following the Turkish invasion and occupation of the island in 1974.

Thousands of clothing items, mostly women and children clothes and shoes remain abandoned 46 years later in the building that belonged to a Greek Cypriot women charity, the Lyceum of Greek Women in Famagusta.

A stunning example of a former Hammam (Turkish Bath House). Since the 16th century, Turkish bath houses have been popular places to unwind in Lebanon. However, due to the civil wars, most of them were shut down.
