Today at the hospital, I took a movie to a 5-year-old in PICU.....and I was silly when I walked in (go figure) and I made him smile.....

His Mommy followed me out and hugged me....and thanked me for making him smile 'because he hasn't smiled in 3 days'.......

<gulp>
That just stopped me in my tracks.....it was such a small thing, acting silly....but it was so huge to them. You just never know, do Ya?

It was a moment for sure.....

Romp and Run time with all the Smooch Pooches!! Watching Tashi whoop up on Willy and watching them be so happy running their asses off! They love having so much land here that they don't need leashes. They run, chase, romp, wrestle HARD, have mid-air collisions, and sneak attacks where they pick at each other for another round. So comical!

Going to a teacher conference and actually learning useful tools that I can use Monday morning with my students. Being new to education I relish the opportunity to speak with more seasoned teachers and this seminar was absolutely fraught with opportunities to network and chat.

My Woman and I renting a house that is going to be so cool to live in.....a huge yard for our lovely kitties that they will enjoy and so will we....

the thought of growing a garden with you, love and eating our own food, planting flowers and having an outdoor firepit.....its making me excited about life...

One of my very dear friends ~ Dr. Tim Seelig ~ was recently appointed to be the new Artistic Director of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This man is an amazingly brilliant musician!

A close friend and her boyfriend came to visit today. I have known her for almost 30 years. We sat around talking about the stuff we use to do growing up<chuckling>. It was AWESOME to see her and pictures of her little two year old grandson I still cannot believe she is a grandmother)!
