Stock pilling sweets/candy and various goodies ready to make up my trick or treat bags, I know that`s technically Halloween but its something I do through the Autumn and I enjoy it so !

Today was a beautiful Fall day. The change in the weather has to be My favorite part of the season. It was overcast- temp was in the low 70's- and we had a pretty good wind throughout the day. I love watching the leaves fall from the trees and the wind catches them placing them all over the ground. I sat out on the porch earlier and enjoyed it all.

Tomorrow will be yet another Fall day. The high is only supposed to be 60 degrees. Wonderful!!!

Hi Daisy - THIS makes Me want to carve a pumpkin and put My porch light on. I think it is cool that you do this throughout Autumn. It keeps you "in the Season" even though it is not Halloween yet.

The smell of the air. The color of the leaves. The gloomy clouds, apple fritters, apple cider, pumpkin patches, smell of cinnamon and pumpkin and apple EVERYTHING, all the Fall decor. Did I mention pumpkins?

Fall can be bright, crisp, cheery, gloomy, cold, windy - all encompassing. If I could BE a season, I'd be fall.

The golden hour when the sun is about to set and everything is bathed in a warm, burnished light, the temperature starts to drop and as the light fades and dusk approaches its time to light candles and get cosy for the evening.
