Celebrated my uncle's 50th birthday today. Lots of great food, drinks and live music, plus it was great to see so much family.

Today, Austin had her first 100+ degree day.....as opposed to LAST year....at this date last year, we'd had 43. And no rain.

It's been a rather lovely summer, I'd say!

In other news....I just spent the last hour and a half....locked out of my house.....but it was only 101....and in the shade of the pecan, probably only 98 or 99....

I'm good, aren't I? There went that new pair of shoes for The Reunion....in Jason's Dodge Charger with no hubcaps. <insert parade wave here>
