It is sweltering tonight... summer has finally dragged its sorry ass in and is apparently making up for lost time. It's the kind of night that no matter how tired, how sleepy I am, I know deep in my gut that there's no sleep coming any time soon.
The windows are wide open but there's no breeze. It's almost 4am and it still hasn't cooled much. I keep going out on the balcony to cool off and get some air but it doesn't help. I'm cranky and frustrated and restless.. Maybe its more than just the heat. And for some strange reason, this scene keeps playing in my head..
