This happen last evening...
My best friend of almost 26 years came down for a visit (spur of the moment type of thing). She brought her girlfriend down to meet me.
Lots of joking around and laughs were had by all!

I went to take my dad out to lunch and he ended up paying!
Then I went to help my mom take a shower so she could go to the doctor. After that, I changed the linen on her bed and folded the rest of the sheets for her bed.

My time in purgatory with my current employer is coming to an end after one very long year. Today I was offered a kick-ass job with a kick-ass Fortune 500 company, close to home, complete with an excellent compensation and benefits package and really great perks. I couldn't be happier as I prepare to embark on what I fully expect to be my final career employment transition. Life is so very good!

I just got my own place, it's the perfect size for me and the furry one and it's in the same village as I'm living now ...
No furniture, or cooker, washer, shower ... but damn, I have my own home again!      this is what tiggles will be doing in her new home ...  and my wonderful little brother got me a little something so I can celebrate!    |
