i like lying on my bed with the window and the door to the deck open, feeling the cross breeze, hearing the trees, smelling the Bay, seeing the light reflected on the walls of my room and seeing the sky through the skylights. i like it when the cats come in from outside, their fur cool or warm depending on the day, to get a quick rub before getting a snack and going back out. i like lying here and being connected to the outside, but still safe and cozy inside.
