I'm sad and happy.. sad Jerry Lewis died .. I loved his old movies with the rat pack and Dean martin.. I'm happy that he will get to party with them all again now.

I'm excited about the solar eclipse tomorrow. It should be at about 85% here. We have one pair of glasses to share among 10 of us at the office, so that should be interesting...lol.

Also, trying to milk the last few hours of the weekend...not ready for the workweek to start.

I'm just cranky. The end of Summer always brings out the worse in me; I've just had all the heat I can take. Every year I say, no more. I can't survive one more Texas Summer. I've survived 36 of them. I'm done.

I feel wonderful. I just received a UPS package which is great in itself. It's always fun to receive packages. Inside this package was a ukelele! I'd have to say it's one of the best birthday gifts (or gifts in general) that I've ever received. Thank you, 22! You are awesome and I am thankful for you.

I bought myself a uke and was planning....note, I said "planning"...to learn it this year. That has not happened so it will be my 2018 goal now.
