It was Ride the Lights tonight. Thousands and thousands of folks got a preview of Blackpool's famous Illuminations.

These Blaze guys were awesome as they entertained many cyclists as they stopped for a chip butty break.

Finally getting my newly purchased dune buggy back from the mechanic who spent a week going over it top to bottom.

An email from my new boss...telling me that he has secured funding and approval for me to take a 4 day seminar in Orlando this November that will result in my MPM (Master Project Manager) certification. It's expensive, and with all that's gone on lately at work I was astounded that this was approved.

She's up to 103 lbs!!!!!!!!! After her hovering around 80-85 lbs for two years, this is AMAZING!!!!

waking up to a very kind text message from my cousin, who is more like my sister, saying that she loves me and she's glad we reconnected after being apart for years. it's like no time passed at all, we still act like 2 little kids having a ball

1.my best friend got out of the hospital this morning after 6 days and he's very sore but recovering well. that was the longest we've been away from each other since first grade.
2. I got to spend quality time with the fam today and soak up some nice Indiana hoodie weather.
3. finishing up the first course of my degree program with an 89%.
4. spending time with Ryan, loving him more and more every day and knowing it's only gonna get better.

Spending the day with my beautiful wife at Dollywood! She does love the roller coasters! Tomorrow, Clingman's Dome and Roaring Fork Motor Trail! Wednesday, into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for some play time, and Thursday is Cades Cove! What a great week!

A most wonderful wake up call...then a nap...then realizing it's Monday..(this did NOT bring me joy)...however the call on the way to work and on my lunch made it much much better Monday..and coming home to lovely sweet offline messages.
