Breathing is bringing me joy today. Watching the birds jockey for position at the feeder. There's one black-capped chickadee who is having a time of it with the larger song and English sparrows.

Joy comes in small things. I let it pile up until there's no room for anything else in my hula hoop.

What brought me joy...

Spending a peaceful weekend at the lake with my honey. Just the two of us sleeping late, soaking up the sunshine, playing in the water, and uncontrollable laughter that's just us.

Having a lazy afternoon yesterday watching football, cooking a big ol' pot of chili, and enjoying the cooler temps with the doors & windows wide open.

10 days till the Reunion!

Being able to get caught up on some yard work and not get dried up like a raisin in the sun. Making homemade whole wheat bread for the first time since last winter. Nothing brings me more joy that fall in the air.
