This morning I set a date with an old softball buddy of mine to get together and throw the ball. Neither of us have thrown in years. It's likely to end up more like a game of fetch, but I am sure it will be good for a few laughs.
Edited to add: I called my dad to ask him if he knew where my glove was, because I knew it had to be somewhere at my parents' house. He asked if I needed the catcher's mask and shin guards, too. Probably not a bad idea. Lol |

Going to a concert at The Ravinia in Chicago to see Blondie who is opening for the great Melissa Etheridge. Bringing a'barilla pecorini cheese, crusty bread, 3 bottles of champagne and assorted olive oil and fruit to share with a couple of friends.

The weekend...
I worked this past weekend...albeit briefly...and didn't get the true feel of a weekend. Also August; my ex is bringing our eldest down to live with me.... And September; football season AND I will have someone to go to the Mountain Fair with! Riding rides alone is no bueno...
