I love stargazing...it was particularly fine when I spent a lot of time in Lincolnshire (not much street lighting in the middle of nowhere). Another super experience was moon and star watching whilst driving through the Moroccan Sahara.

Define "fluent". I could do the essentials-eat, pee and shop-in France, Spain or Russia. I could find a few words of Chinese, German or Italian. I don't have enough words in any for a long-ish conversation, though. I had the most trouble with British English, and that is my mother tongue!

True, sort of. I always wanted to be a famous paleontologist and dig up dinosaur bones. I've gone fossil digging, though not where dinos would be, climbed rocks, though not where dinos would be, and got into teaching. So, a few detours but pretty close.
