Hurting and sore. I really should not have helped my parents clean out their garage. Lifting with a hurt shoulder was not the best decision.

I'm better now that I took a shower. Earlier, I was miserable, hot, sweaty and ready to kick someone's ass. Not because of anything specific; just because I get testy when I'm hormonal and also when I'm hot and irritable and when they collide......BOOM.

Again, I am much better now.

What a difference a day makes!

Movement made me feel so much better. It always does - I don't know why I insist on wallowing in inertia when I'm feeling discouraged. So, today I joined a gym, paid rent, rearranged the living room, cleaned the entire house, and am currently washing everything. Candles are lit - the ambience is exquisite in here right now.

I bought a fridge full of healthy groceries, lots of bottled water - with plenty to spare for emergencies. The rest of my bills will be paid in full on Monday - and I was pleasantly surprised upon crunching the numbers that there is plenty left over to put away.

I'm trying to change the toilet seat, but the screws are stripped completely bare. If I could get that fixed, my day would be a raging success, lol. But we can't have it all, I suppose.

I'm feeling okay. Freshly showered and smelling quite tropical in my comfy jammies, with my hair drying in braids, I'm finally able to relax. I had errands, then work, then errands, then I crammed dinner down my gullet and then I got to scrub the day away.

An hour and a half from bedtime, but hey....it's better than nothing, right?

I started coming out of my funk this weekend and it's pretty much gone. Thank goodness because I was getting on my own nerves. I'll be great after I take some time off in September. And, who knows? I may even be able to take off a couple of Fridays in August.

I've had a ridiculously impossible two weeks

, but am starting to feel like my old self again.

I missed me.
