I cannot come home today without buying a box of ALPO treats. My three dogs were frumpy at me last night because we did not have any. They look forward to a "cookie" right after last pee call at night just before bedtime.

I took an neighbor friend with me today, on an long drive out in the country, where I hoped to find really nice plants for my patio deck. I bought three lovely plants, very big plants, and my neighbor helped me get them upstairs and out onto my patio deck. They're so gorgeous.
 One plant has yellow foilage -- Escallonia Gold Brian; another plant is an big flowering Echinacea cone flower plant, with big Sombrero Salsa Red flowers; and the other plant is three plants in one -- Kong Empire Mix (huge foilage leaves with unique patterns). Jackie had the day off today, so we rendezvous'd up at Goose Hollow Inn and I treated us to a lazy lunch (we both had amazing split pea soup and salad).
We had an lovely time...so pretty today, trees are changing colors and the clouds snuggled the West Hilss and brought misting rain.

Ordered from eBay a few days ago ... all but one item arrived today ...
wedge bed bolster for legs ... my physical therapist has one and it reduces the sciatic pain when he puts it under my legs .. I had bought one but it turned out crummy ... I can tell these are THE ONES 9 quart 3-tier vegetable steamer ... I loved my old one but cannot remember if I lost it or broke it when I moved ... since it was acrylic, I probably broke it ... good thing this one's baskets feel rubberized ... going to begin eating fresh vegetables all the time ... enough already Beanie Weenie and cardboard pizzas ... *waving bye bye* LOL! pair of Ralph Lauren cargo pants stubby 12 gauge vertical forend grip (deal at $9.99) <<-- did the install as soon as I unwrapped it ... love it, no wobble, solid as a rock |
