Today I am feeling.. a few different emotions.. stressed- assignment due tomorrow, and I can't seem to focus, annoyed - my car broke down yesterday, nothing too major (alternator) spending money I planned to use elsewhere now is gone to a spiffy new parts, labour, and a fancy tow-- $400 that I will never get back. ha - damn car heard I was thinking of upgrading soon. Grateful - had a great time with my granddaughter and the sleep over we had last night. Blessed and thankful.

Better. I got that drain pipe fixed and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought. With that out of the way, now the rest of stuff on todays chore list are things I don't mind doing.

Thanks, clay. I fully intend to savor every second of it. The fish fry will be at the campsite, cooked in a cast iron skillet over an open flame in a hand dug fire pit.

Dear Wife and I are feeling simply exuberant these days, as we are now only 4 days away from closing the deal on our purchase of a brand spankin' new 4 bedroom/3 bath/3 car garage, 2300+ sq.ft. home here in central Texas, right outside of Temple, Tx. We can't begin to put into words our excitement!! We'll be looking to arrange for the installation of an in-ground pool for the back yard, too! Once we get situated into the new home.

I just love, love LOVE ❤️ the smell of new construction!!!! Woot!!!!

Home sweet home.
