Imagine if you will... yearly toy drive... gathering place... Grand Junction, Colorado Harley Davidson Store... 10 am... cold, damn cold... 800 bikers... Young and old... 3000 toys collected for Toy's for Tots... total estimated cost... over 50,000 dollars... All for a good cause... Know that is what *giving* is all about...

There was a bash several years ago in Nawlins. Before Katrina. I wasn't able to make that one and I've been kind of sad about that. It would be interesting.

How is it that teenagers can live in a house, yet act like nothing that happens in it pertains to them....i.e. the doorbell rings (they ignore it or "don't hear it"), step over or around the mess the kittens made, the smoke detector goes off with an ear-splitting alarm (as it did 2 minutes ago)...and they act like it has nothing to do with them...even though it was their own long hot shower in a closed bathroom that set it off.

WTF...am I the only one living here????

Well teenagers are just like that!!! I suggest putting the smoke alarm next to their beds. LOL If I have gray hairs (and I am not admitting that I do have them) it came from my own former teenagers! I will say that they improve with age though.....especially once they have teenagers of their own. *naughty giggle*

I guess you will just have to put your foot down when it comes to these things!! Especially if the kittens mad a mess they will have to learn to clean it up...I don't know if punishing will help because they are teenagers but they have minds of their own, what can you really do...
