I confess...
~ I am thoroughly disappointed that my family pulled a bait-and-switch on Christmas Eve dinner. Instead of the yummy turkey and stuff that I was expecting, they decided to do a "snack setting" with just finger foods and appetizers...   Looks like the only way I will get the yummy turkey I am craving is if I go to my maternal grandmother's house for lunch today. I tend to avoid them like the plague because they are they gun toting, hellfire-and-brimstone, Ruby Ridge-ish kind of folks who sit on their mountaintop, do the scary Jesus homeschooling while hording guns and not paying their taxes.  Guess there's no turkey for me this Christmas...  ~ Eventhough disappointed with the food options, I am super happy with my gifts from the family. I had already gotten a DroidX as an early present so I wasn't really expecting anything more. Ended up with awesome fuzzy pjs (w/matching fuzzy socks!), a camo makeup bag, $$$, and a cute new little camcorder. Can't wait to see what's in my stocking in a few hours...  |

I confess I have had some angels here on BFP who have made sure I had a wonderful Christmas. I am so honored to be considered their friend and touched that they realized what each gift really would mean to me. Thank you ...
I confess that I made love jars for my family members, filling them with little letters, quotes, and old photo or two, remnants of our connection and then I hand painted each jar. Gemme is who inspired me to do so... I confess that I am in awe of my humble home, in its relic-ness nature, its worn and faded cosmetics, that tell the tale of having had many decades of holidays celebrated here. This is my first and I can feel them all...there is a magic in a home that has raised children... I confess that this place, BFP, has become my cyber home and I feel part of and valued here. And Safe. The Admins and Mods all work together, along with all of us, to create a place where we all can come and celebrate together...to them I say thank you and hope they all have a wonderful holiday. I confess that the best way to make sure they do, is for me (and others) to behave here! LOL. Good nite everyone...blessings to all....

i confess a christmas gift that i gave to a friend is a re-gift. it was a perfect gift for her...way to girly for me. my grandma still doesn't fully understand the concept of boi...so i still get semi girly gifts.

I confess...
That i cheated once in my life I confess... She was the love of my life I confess... I regret it for it was the biggest mistake of my life I confess... It was right after we got back together and i asked her to marry me I confess... It was with the woman i started seeing after she broke my heart and split my world in two I confess... I did it cuz i was still hurt that she had broken up with ne in the first place for her own selfish reasons I confess... The two wrongs didnt make what i did right I confess... Im an asshole for what i did I confess... I still have pics of her on my phone and a pic of me and her rubber ducky when i went to Pittsburgh to visit her this past June

I confess that although I love my biofamily very much and want to stay connected to them, that I feel like a complete fish out of water when I am with them. It's like I don't even know them.
I confess I can't take the amount of stimulation and crazyness that surrounds them all, I want to shrink into the corner and stick my fingers in my ears. I confess that my mother is overbearing and inconsiderate and while I do love her I get to choose not to be around this all the time. I confess that there is one person I want to go see and I am not even sure why. I confess that my leather family is my strongest bond and that is where I find my center and my strength. I confess that waking in the middle of the night, not to hoof 'clops' on the roof, but to the clanging of our furnace, was NOT ideal.
I confess that the temperature inside the house is dropping rapidly since we decided safety came over comfort. And since it is an old house with an oil furnace, well. It had to be turned off until we can find someone to come out. I confess that my family is supposed to be here for Christmas this year, and I see no way to have dad here with only the heat from the fireplaces. I confess that I am EVER grateful to at least have fireplaces. I confess that I haven't built a fire yet since we are sure to be going to my parents in an hour or so now. I confess BRRRR! And! I confess DAMMIT! I confess, at least I'm not in a barn, sleeping on hay. I confess, Merry Christmas, Happy holidays in spite of it!
