Riding my bike along the river that runs through the metro park on an absolutely lovely afternoon.

On my way home this morning...
Seeing a sweet little doe lazily crossing a side street...I turned around to make sure she wasn't injured in some way..and she was just meandering down a fire road...she turned to look at me when I stopped...and her ears were tall and perky...I could see her pondering whether or not to high tail it... she stayed and I left her be...just happy to admire her from afar..
simple joys....

Today is the day before a long weekend of pool tournaments witch starts tomorrow night and will run till all of them are over this will go on for the next two weeks mostly over the long weekend.So I did a fair reasonable workout to just use my body, work up a good sweat,get the heart rate going good plus some hoops to work on my hand eye cordanation thena lot of plain old stretches a couple of times a day.Tomorrow (today as it's 12:20a.m.) i'm just going to do more hoops,do more stretching catch a bit of reast in the mid afternoon and all will be ready.Sounds like a plan to me.

After a tumultuous year and a half, my daughter managed to at least pass all her classes and today officially became a sophomore in high school. To tell you the truth, as late as March I was fully expecting summer school. Plus, my son has been approved for AP math and the Gifted and Talented course next year. I can't believe it.
