An early morning call saying she had bought the tickets! Woohoo 27 days!!!!!

Waking this morning to a quiet campground, knowing the worst of the season is behind me. It was definitely one of the more fun seasons I have had at my crazy job, but still a relief to get to Labor Day. Now to enjoy the beautiful September weather.

Good coffee at home for the first time in weeks.

Getting furniture moved into the kid's bedroom, this afternoon, first step in getting the cabin ready for their visit, wheeeeeee....

Just about everything. I woke up rested and feeling mellow. I opened the windows, listened to the rain as it poured cats and dogs, turned on some female jazz vocals and smiled. The air is fresh and its so nice to turn the AC off.

Finally being able to get rid of Direct Tv. Im so sick of their rude customer service.

Coming home to Simon. My heart fills up with so much love when I see that little guy. He is always so happy and eager to see me. Its great to cuddle up with him in the recliner after a long hard day. I love him so much. I am glad my ex gave him back to me when we broke up.

Being told by co workers today they are changing my name to Mike and that my hero is Chazz Bono LOL

I actually flirted with someone today!

I've been a bit gun-shy lately - it seems I'm sending the wrong signals or misreading other people's signals. Add the pressures of my new-ish job, the killer commute, and stress with my roomate's (straight guy) girlfriend and you've got lonely ol' me!

But today on the train I noticed when a woman boarded. She has reddish brown hair (my weakness, apparently), was carrying a really cool messenger bag and sat a few seats away from me. She pulled out an ebook and didn't notice me stealing glances at her for the next 45 minutes.
After we got off the train, as we were walking along the platform - I was trying to think of something to say. We were outside before I got up the courage to ask about her messenger bag. We had a little chat - nothing much. I mean, I don't even know anything about her - she could be straight or married or a serial killer.
But I put myself out there. And it felt good.

I had a wonderful day! I havent been so happy in a while.

So, I thought I had major repairs that needed to be done to my car several mechanics later... Totally 500-700 Dollars. I was lost wondering what to do. I dont have that kind of money just lying around ya know. Took car in this morning to a friend of a friend and its a 4.08 cent part! Woooo HOO!! He ordered the part from Chrysler and it will be here Monday and it will only cost me 45.00 to fix it! I am so ecstatic

Ok also, Simon got to spend his day at the puppy spa and he looks cuter than ever..

I got a haircut and picked up my smell good today

Oh, and I got a year supply of my contacts for only 50.00!
