I spent almost 2 hours being passed around from office to office with lots of "oh, wait, maybe you should try calling this number..." often being passed back to the office before, only to find out that the one person who could help and the one I had to talk to ... was off work sick

It's a good thing as soon as the eejit I was talking to said that hung up there and then because I would've made her ears ring with the cursing that came after, luckily because I will have to call the buggers again!

The 2018 Winter Olympics being held in S. Korea (Pyeongchang sp??);

The workmen coming to my house in the morning to figure out where the water leak is at. According to public works I had used enough water to fill 2 in ground pools for one month.

Just curious as to what goes through peoples heads when they find out that you defriended them on facebook then they try to add you back as a friend.

Some of them can get downright hostile. lol Luckily, when folks unfriend me I usually don't realize it anyway, and since I usually can't remember who they were in the first place I don't worry about trying to add them back.

What gets me is that I very, very rarely ever send friend requests to people, so when I do and the person just hits "ignore" I can't help thinking "well how rude" LOL

i admit, i am guilty of this. but i have my reasons and to just be rude isn't one of them. i did except yours though

I think I found out about it a little late for the test run, so I'm a "standby participant" for the next round. I read that it's supposed to operate more around social circles, instead of individual interactions. Is that the setup?

yes that is true. Like I don't have many people from work on my facebook but on google plus I can have them on there without them being able to access my friends circle at all. It's completely separate. You have different circles friends, family, work, etc...you can add people to multiple circles though. It's pretty cool because people cannot see your other circles.
