My new boss...
She gave me a shit ton of hours. I'm booked up all through Sunday. And I have 12 hr shifts overnight next week. She also gave me a cash advance on my pay so I could get new tires. I was reluctant to take a client shopping because of my front tires and she was concerned about MY well being too. So...Bonnie has pretty new shoes now!

I made a really good dinner of Eye Of Round Roast, veggies and a peach crisp that was enjoyed by all. I'm glad the roast turned out, as it was the first time I've made that kind...and it brings me joy that other's enjoyed my cooking, as it's a way I can give back.

A break in the biblical rains...
I took the opportunity to head out for a hike with the dogs. There was a rainbow along the way. I always say that this area apologizes for the bad weather. For example: last night we had storms and rain, but the sunrise was pinkish gold...it illuminated the entire sky. Amazing. So that too brought me joy... And all the rain made for many waterfalls along the drive. And the one I hike to (hickory nut falls) was roaring over the cliffside. We were completely alone out there. Rain threatened but held off til we were walking out. Wonderful day...
