So many smiles the past 2 days.

Yesterday: Shopping w/my BFF -- recently released from the hospital and no longer actively suicidal. It was the first time in months we've been able to just hang out like friends in months. It was good to see a glimmer of the old her returning.

Today: A full 8 hours of sleep, a hot cup of coffee and a freshly bathed hound dog napping on the couch by my side. The smell of fresh-cut Yule tree in the house. The warm lights on the tree contrasting with the cool gray morning.

Getting a visit from some friends today while I am in an inpatient rehab - recovering/working hard to rehab my brand spanking knee knee.

I am so very blessed to have made real friends here, who have my back.

They also brought lunch, which definitely made me smile, as the food here often does not make me smile~
