There is an article in Yahoo Sports where Charlie Sheen admits to using steroids during the making of the movie Major League.

I wonder if this was to help his pitching or acting?

Either way, I am sure Congress is very happy he came clean before they wasted a bizillon taxpayer dollars holding hearings on the matter.

This we believe is a classic example of a very important phenomenon called epigenetics, which literally means "beyond genetics."

Traditional genetics deals primarily with the absence or presence of genes, whereas epigenetics deals with the action or inaction of genes that are there, and the effect of the environment in turning genes on or off. So, in the case of the ptarmigan, they likely had genes for gallbladders, but they weren't operating - they weren't turned on - but when the birds received a high fat diet, it essentially turned on the gene. So this is an example of feedback from the environment - the environment affecting genes. This is becoming a major field in biology. It can be a whole revolution in our understanding of biology and it has huge potential and significance in many ways, including in human medicine."

They're a gang of mostly teenagers and young adults who follow the group Insane Clown Posse. I have to admit, in a mumble, that I don't totally dislike ICP's act. (See Miracles on YouTube.)

This gang calls themselves Juggalos and Juggalettes (man, the femmes got short end of those naming conventions, huh?), they wear clown make-up, and SOME of them--not all--are trending toward violent crime. In NH in the last year, there have been at least 3 brutal crimes committed by people who identify as Juggalos.
