The really cute lady at the pharmacy.. She said, "like I didn't know who you were, I know your name." Then she smiled real big and I did too.. Then I said something about my doctor coming back and she says, oh, he's back, do you want his new number and he's in the same location, maybe next door... She put a big smile on my face and it lasted for most of the day..

I have had my first shower since the surgery. Sponge baths just arent the same thing. I think I smiled the whole way thru it!

I get to work with a particularly tricky student (multiple disabilities) and today she actually interacted with some really tenacious kindergarten girls. Who says girls are mean? Those sweet kiddos were jumping up and down to I'm a little tea pot for what seemed like forever. We saw the first smile from our student to another kid and a spontaneous wave good bye. Hard to fall asleep with that magic alive in the universe.
