Yanks and Tigers tonight - Nova vs Fister. Great pitching match up.

Tomorrow is both national finals. D-backs send Kennedy against Gallardo.
And, Cards send Carpenter against Halliday.

Exciting stuff.

ALL of the management/ coaches will be back next year

so much for the *accountability* rhetoric. The Pirates had the most strike outs in all of MLB. Shouldn't the hitting
coach be held accountable?

Well, of course facebook has the answer. The year before, (under a different hitting coach) the Pirates didn't hit. They just stood there.

i didn't watch the 7th inning of the tigers/yankees, ... too nervous.
great game.

the yankees are so used to winning, ... it kinda felt like they thought
the game was just gonna come to them. after all, they are the yankees!
they are in shock mode lol.

but you know, to beat the yankees ... that's a smart, skilled group of players.
the tigers can say they've beat a great team.

I am so glad the Rangers will be playing the Tigers I am so hoping they can win this year... Im not usually a baseball fan but since we all know the Cowboys aint gonna do shit and the Mavs won their first championship ever well Im holding out believing in the Rangers

I was at work, so I couldn't watch the game. But I had ESPN open in my browser to the score/play-by-play game in my browser and "watched" (refreshed) all night.

I was thinking about you tonight during the game! Are you going to be able to go to more tiger play-off games? I am soooooooooooo envious!!

I think they are going to get there- thought that all season. Lots of talent and smarts on that team. Verlander is going to pitch Saturday!
