....that i am so THANKFUL i found these sites that have opened my eyes and heart and helped me realize what a femme is and that that is who i've always been.

....that friendships are to be cherished, protected and held up high and respected.

....that life is so precious, fast and to hug every second of it and live life to the fullest.

....that loving someone is a wonderful place to be, and being loved back is just freaking amazing.

The older I get, the more I find I like uncomplicated people, things, etc. ... and am realizing I am enjoying being older. (54 years old right now) I was talking to a friend the other day about what a simple life I lead - on purpose! It is nice to feel content, not have to worry about trying to outdo anyone or "shine" in any way ... but to only be comfortable being my "simpleton" self. LOL! Once in a great while, when I find I am interacting with a person who seemingly is buying into their own inflated ego and perhaps trying to "one up" me or exhitbit how much smarter, etc. they are than me ... I let them ... and then quietly dismiss them from my life. Same thing for gamers ... if people are still playing games at 50+ that is fine but not someone I want to be around.
Things of this nature drain my positive energy.

Life is too good these days. I am so blessed in many ways.

That I haven't changed, If you liked me in my 20's you will like me in my 40's. If you didn't like me in my 20's you sure aren't going to like me in my 40's.

That Ive lived the first half of my life without love acceptance and affection. Im making steps to change that to leave that in the past. I will have and be with someone who loves me and doesnt try and change me.

People arent meant to be alone. God made made Adam N Eve and animals a mate when He created them.

Learning to love me has taught me what a damn good catch I am. One really needs to be a good catch as well to even attract my attention.

Having a wonderful career and being blessed enough to have what I need is bittersweet. Having no one to share t with would just be the icing on the cake so to speak.
