This candle is for my Aunt Louise in Colorado. She's getting sick again and we may lose her this time.

This candle is for my Aunt Judy in California. She's divorced and she and my ex-uncle Steve live together as friends. He's dying from alcoholism and is worse now then ever—deteriorating more each day. They need all the support they can get.

This is for my father, J.R., who suffers from severe COPD and is now going blind...

Tonight I light a candle for the poor teenage mother that has just lost her infant child. I light it for her suffering. I light it for her situation that put her pregnant at 13. I light it for her unsupportive family structure that left her alone in the intensive care with her infant child. I light it for her sobs and cries, alone, as we fought to save her child.

How about a Miraculous update?

It starts with a message from my Big Seester:

A few of you were privileged to receive a text this evening from Wonder Woman...
(seriously, and I hope none of you ever have to know this kind of experience
and out of body endurance!)...she is officially on the rehab ward, but her vision
is impaired on top of everything else, so it is difficult to see this stuff. Docs say
it will come back (due to the machines, ie; ECMO), but unsure of time frame.
For now, she is working hard to convince her small frame that it is mighty and
she can get out of there by her birthday. **crosses fingers and toes, then
decides to skip the toes until a pedicure happens**

And THEN came one from mah Niece!

Hi everyone, thanks for the well wishes. I'm in rehab and on the computer here.
Will try to update when there is something new to say. Right now it's focusing
on strength and weight gain. Hoping to be out of here and in
the hotel by my birthday.

And then today...another FB from mah Niece:

UPDATE; so doctors think I'm doing well enough to get out and stay in the
hotel early! So as of right now it's looking like Friday. I'll still have therapy
just at the hotel yay!

For my other daughter who needs very little but still covering her in prayer...

For my family whose transition and transformation as a fully functional as opposed to a dysfunctional one is coming to fruition...praise God!
